Hidi Khola Hydropower Project is a proposed run-of-river hydroelectric project located in the Bhulbhule Village Development Committee of the Lamjung District in central Nepal. The project aims to utilize the water resources of Hidi Khola, a tributary of the Marshyangdi River. It has a planned power capacity of 6.82 MW.
The project envisions generating a total annual contract energy of 41.18 GWhr, with an estimated annual dry season energy output of 13.38 GWhr and an estimated annual wet season energy output of 27.79 GWhr. The wet season energy accounts for approximately 68% of the total annual energy estimation.
Preparations for the construction of the Hidi Khola Hydropower Project are in progress, with all necessary obligations fulfilled. The project is poised to commence construction in the near future. Once operational, it will contribute significantly to the generation of clean and renewable energy, thereby promoting sustainable development and meeting the growing energy demands of Nepal.
