Invest Analyst
Key Roles and Responsibility:
- Conduct initial reviews and screen of prospective investment opportunities.
- Maintain the investment pipeline by updating and managing the internal database. • Evaluate financial and operational data provided by potential companies, including historical and projected financial statements.
- Prepare comprehensive financial models and projections, incorporating sensitivity analysis based on market developments and company growth.
- Perform thorough industry and market research and analysis to support investment decisions.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective investments, including financial, operational, and market analysis in coordination with external advisors and consultants to ensure comprehensive due diligence.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the financial industry. • Stay up-to-date with financial news, market trends, economic developments and capital market.
- Provide technical support to portfolio companies and other stakeholders.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. Preference shall be given to candidates working towards Professional qualifications such as CFA,CA or ACCA.
- 2-3 years of experience in the field of finance, private equity, investment banking or related field.
- Extensive financial modelling skills and experience in Excel.
- Fluency in writing and speaking Nepali and English language.
- Ability to handle a variety of assignments and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision and work on own initiative when required.
Admin & Finance Officer
Key Roles and Responsibility:
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to all group companies' management, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Overseeing trades, settlements, book keeping, reconciliation and cashflow management of the firm's transactions.
- Actively contribute to the development and preparation of the group's financial strategy and general business planning.
- Prepare financial budgets and projections; develop strategies and coordinate with the senior management to ensure attainment of financial goals.
- Ensure all group companies comply with financial reporting, taxation, and company laws.
- Coordinate with all relevant stakeholders and shareholders of the company/group. • Support the Internal and External Audit Functions.
- Assist senior management in relevant account/finance functions as per requirement.
- Handle the administrative functions of the company.
Experience and Qualifications
- Qualified ACCA or CA member with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in accounting, internal audit, compliance and external audit roles.
- Strong understanding of Nepalese Tax Regulation, accounting and financial reporting standards.
- Fluency in writing and speaking Nepali and English language.
- Ability to handle a variety of assignments and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision and work on own initiative when required.
